On visiting the MacGregor's blog just now I see that they have a recent post up concerning another "pet", note the following excerpt from the post, Archie, Nat, and the White Feather:
I'm also reminded of my mothers "white" stone collection: whenever I went to the beach near her home, she wanted me to bring back white stones. I must have gathered a thousand!! She used them around her gardens and certain trees on her property. When mom passed away, her ashes were placed at the foot of her mothers grave (as she explained to me earlier, was her wish). I returned to her grave site later to place white stones around her grave plaque ... as I know would also be her wish. After placing the stones, I then went to mom's beach, and instead of walking along the shore as I normally would, I walked high atop one of the dunes, and surprisingly, just before sitting down to peruse the ocean from my "lofty" perch, I saw the most magnificent white stone ever... a gift from mom. That is how I see it even today. I was waiting for the "wright" time to post about this event. NOW, is the time. As you can see from the photo, the stone has a face... I call her "mom's moon stone"... the stone had been waiting a very long time for this moment.
The first white feather experiences we read about were on Mike Perry’s blog.So I ventured to Mike's blog where I discover that his post was made on July 2. Now this date stands out because at the end of my last post, I investigated the date of March 22 (the gap in a cluster), and using the formula brought up a few individuals. I chose the one that was best suited, butt there was also this one:
His name contains a cryptic combination of "maximum be loft/ bell off". It is cryptic... a way for the inner twin world to say: strive high to turn the warning bell off. Note from his wiki page:
- 1999 – Max Beloff, Baron Beloff, English historian and academic (b. 1913)
As for the white feather, the thing that stands out at this time, and because the first post today concerned building a stairway...that wasn't your usual one... in that it was entirely white!! Check out the photo at right. The green strips are tape that's holding temporary white cardboard tread protector in place (so we and other trades people don't wreck the finish). The owner intends to put a carpet runner down the middle. I guess white is the new fangled stairway!!
