Continuing on from my previous post, note from the Buffalo Springfield wiki page:
The new group debuted on April 11, 1966, at The Troubadour in Hollywood. A few days later, they began a short tour of California as the opening act for the Dillards and the Byrds.Of the Dillards, 4 band members stand out:
And because we have an August 22... cutting to the chase:
- Doug Dillard (March 6, 1937 – May 16, 2012)
- Byron Berline (born July 6, 1944)
- Billy Constable (23 March 1959 – 22 August 2015)
- Mitchell F. Jayne(July 5, 1928 – August 2, 2010)
Of the Byrds three stand out:
- Jim Whelan (November 8, 1948 – August 22, 2017)
- Alain Berbérian (2 July 1953 – 22 August 2017)
The reason will be clear once you read this blogs Header, and posts over the last couple of days. And so to find the intended third (or more) July 6... using the formula we arrive at:
- Roger McGuinn (July 13, 1942)
- Clarence White (June 7, 1944 - July 14, 1973)
- Skip Battin February 18, 1934 – July 6, 2003)
Three of the above have something else in common, a gun: Roy Rogers the cowboy; Rodrigo's birthday is the same day as President J F Kennedy assassination, and Winchell the soldier. Auddly enough, a gun factored in Yesterdays post... and it's in the song Buffalo Springfield, For What it's Worth.
- 1998 – Roy Rogers (born Leonard Franklin Slye, November 5, 1911 – July 6, 1998) actor, singer
