Note from yesterday's post Peter Shaffer RIIP: A Ma Deus... A Mother Goddess:
Note from the wiki pages of two different Maia/Maya Goddess from different parts of the world:
- Dudley Foster (7 August 1924 – 8 January 1973)
Note the cryptic phrase in the character name re "May hew". My name is May for one and there has been a recent "May" pattern-cluster as also mentioned in yesterday's post, Peter Shaffer RIIP: A Ma Deus... A Mother Goddess, note this excerpt:
- Dudley Foster as Mr. Mayhew
And then there's "hew", note the etymology:As well, my name "May" and "Megan" had cropped up in my previous post.
- May ... Maia, Roman earth goddess (wife of Vulcan)... PIE *mag-ya "she who is great," ...root *meg- "great"
hew (v.) ... from PIE *kau- "to hew, strike," ...As for the etymology of the name Dudley:
Dudley: "Dudda" from a Germanic root used to describe a rotund or heavily built man, plus the Olde English "leah", a wood or clearing; hence, "Dudda's leah".My first thought given the recent "David / David and Goliath" pattern-cluster, is that the "rotund and heavily built man" describes Goliath well enough. So if the sense is that Goliath is out of the forest and into the clearing it suffices to say that this now leaves David with a clear shot. Hmmm, what if we are both Goliath and David...what if "into the Forest" is a metaphor for "in the dark". And "clearing" is then "out of the dark"...where we then see the truth...our big old ugly Goliath that we can now rid ourself of (thanks to the David within). And so, THE Birth of a New Paradigm!!
Note from the wiki pages of two different Maia/Maya Goddess from different parts of the world:
Maya : Hinduism, Maya is also an epithet for goddess,[8] and the name of a manifestation of Lakshmi, the goddess of "wealth, prosperity and love
Maia (Roman/Goddess) On May 15, the Ides, Mercury was honored as a patron of merchants and increaser of profit (through an etymological connection with merx, merces, "goods, merchandise"), another possible connection with Maia his mother as a goddess who promoted growth.[21]May 15 had cropped up twice in yesterday's post
- Gianluca Buonanno (15 May 1966 – 5 June 2016
- Sir Peter Levin Shaffer (15 May 1926 – 6 June 2016)
Born on the same day, we now have a "May 15(x2)" pattern-cluster. And do note the "MAY".I like the "wealth, prosperity and love/increased of profit". And who wouldn't!! And on the money note, the "Green" pattern-cluster jives. Even though money here in Canada is now a variety of colour, green is still associated with money. AND, the number 4 (aka four/for/fore) shares the same key on my keyboard as the $ dollar sign...well, think about it: 4est. A forest is "green" after all. It sure beats being in the "red".
