Zeng Xuelin RIIP: 81 and 1,2,3

The Deaths in 2016 site lists under February 11:

  • Zeng Xuelin (2 December 1929 – 11 February 2016)
So note the team logo at right and then at left, the logo of Fairey Aviation from  my previous post:

Fairey Aviation Company logo
Note from the teams wiki page:
  • formed on August 1, 1927... and chose the name of Bayi (八一) meaning Ba (八) is for eight and Yi (一) is for one.
The name Bayi has a cryptic phrase within re "bay I", or in other words "I hold at bay", note the definition:
  1. 1.
forced to confront one's attackers or pursuers; cornered.

Three notable players are mentioned in the history section of the Bayi Football teams wiki page, note the following information on the three:

Haidong's birthday is an addition to the "Targeting Family Birthdays" pattern-cluster given that August 25 is my granddaughter's birthday.  Jiang Jin's date of birth stands out given the following from my previous post, :

Bai Zijian   (born 16 October 1992)
Jo Sung-hwan  (born 16 October 1970 )
So we now have an "October 14, _, 16 (x2), 17/ Date Sequence" pattern-cluster.

Xuelin managed the Chinese national football team, note from the teams wiki page:
  • current kit has been produced and manufactured by Nike since 2015
Note from Nyke's wiki page:
The surname Bowerman stands out given that it's a cryptic "Archer man", and so an addition to the recent "Archer Theme" pattern-cluster.  Ant the name Phil Knight is related... at least archers and knights are part of a medieval theme... and his name Phil means "friend of horses" in origin... so it all fitz!!  Note from their wiki pages:

  • Philip Hampson "PhilKnight (born February 24, 1938)
  • William Jay "Bill" Bowerman  (February 19, 1911 – December 24, 1999)
Now note the following information regarding a notable persons listed on wiki pages:
  • William W. "Bill" Knight (February 8, 1909 – February 19, 1981) Philip's father

Each  of the dates stand out: Phil Knights date of birth together with my grandson's generates a "February 22, _, 24/ Date Sequence" pattern-cluster; Bowerman's birthday and Bill Knights date of death generate a "February 19(x2)" pattern-cluster.  And February 19 stands out due to this excerpt from today's post, Ray Colcord RIIP (Part ): Avro Arrow, Not A-E-R-O:
  • So we now have a  " January 19, _, _, April 19 (x2)  , _, June 19, _, _, _, _, November 19, December 19/Date Sequence " pattern-cluster.
So the cluster expands : January 19, February 19(x2), _, April 19 (x2)  , _, June 19, _, _, _, _, November 19, December 19".  As for Bill Knight's birthday, February 8th cropped up also in the post, note this excerpt:
  • Jules Gabriel Verne (8 February 1828 – 24 March)
Now, we have another addition to the vast "February 8" pattern-cluster... and a prompt to revisite the Deaths in 2016 site to investigate anyone we may have missed who is listed to have died on this day.
So I thought I better go and check, and lo and behold I find 3 who stand out:
Note the birthdays of Stiel and Verdy, and then note once again, the info regarding Zeng Xuelin:
  • Zeng Xuelin (2 December 1929 – 11 February 2016)
So the birthdays of the 3 generate a "December 1, 2, 3/Date Sequence" pattern-cluster.  And then Zeng had died on Mardesich's birthday, hence generating a "February 11 (x2)" pattern-cluster.

On Bowerman's wiki page:
  • Bowerman married Barbara Young on June 22, 1936. Their first son, Jon, was born June 22, 1938
And note the following info regarding notable persons mentioned on his wiki page:
  • Arthur Leslie Lydiard  (6 July 1917 – 11 December 2004)
  • Galen Rupp (born May 8, 1986)
  • Tinker Haven Hatfield, Jr. (born April 30, 1952
They stand out, mostly due to the cryptic phrases via their names.  Note this next bit of info re Nike:
In 1994, Canstar, the parent company of Bauer, became a wholly owned subsidiary ofNike
So Bauer and Bower are pronounced the same... at least in my books... so another cryptic "archer".  Note from Bauer's wiki page:

IndustrySporting goods
FoundedKitchenerOntario, 1927
What immediately strikes me is the "Kitchener"... it cropped up not long ago, note this excerpt from my Feburay 9 post, Ray Colcord RIIP (Part 2): Gibson Girl Meets Georgie Girl Meets GiGi:

  • What stood out is the name of the character he played "Fitzgibbon", and only because just moments before, I retrieved  an earlier post that involves a bow and arrow, and where the name "Gibbon" is found in the posts title, Michael Gibbon RIIP: Walker (x2), note this excerpt:

  •  So we have a "Gibbon" pattern-cluster.  It just occurred to me that "Kitchener" has the word "Kitchen" in it... we did have a recent "Cook Theme" pattern-cluster.

Bauer's wiki page has a list of names, some stand out:
  • George Edwin Tackaberry (May 6, 1874 - November 19, 1937)
  • Patrick Timothy Kane II (born November 19, 1988)
  • Evander Frank Kane (born August 2, 1991)
  • Michael Komisarek (born January 19, 1982)
  • Andrew "Andy" Greene (born October 30, 1982)
  • Matthew George Greene (born May 13, 1983)
  • Travis Zajac (born May 13, 1985)
  • Ryan Getzlaf (born May 10, 1985)
  • Mark Alexander Terrance Pysyk[1] (born January 11, 1992)
  • David Anthony Backes (born May 1, 1984)
  • Devan Dubnyk (born May 4, 1986)
  • James Frederick van Riemsdyk[1] (born May 4, 1989)

  • Tomáš Vokoun ( born July 2, 1976)
  • Alexander Alexandrovich "Alex" Galchenyuk (born February 12, 1994)
