Note the following information re cast and crew of The Blackbird:
Release dates
- January 11, 1926
I highlighted the name "Leonidas" due to the "Leo/August" connection... butt what's really audd, is that he wasn't born in August (Leo), butt he died in August. His name and death was likely "timely". Hmmm, I was born in June and named May... make me wonder if I'll die in May. Well, let's hope by that time the war will be over and so no more 'timely' deaths and we can all live to a healthy old age.
- Tod Browning (July 12, 1880 – October 6, 1962)

I decided to check out only three of the actors, the names that stood out the most:
- This article is about the 1926 film. For the 1975 film, see The Black Bird.
- Ray Stark (October 3, 1915 – January 17, 2004)
- Lionel Jay Stander(January 11, 1908 – November 30, 1994)

The last two stand out due to the "Leo" connection... you must remember Felix the Cat, note from his wiki page:
On other occasions, he claimed that Felix had been inspired by Rudyard Kipling's "The Cat that Walked by Himself"We have another poet, note from Kipling's wiki page:
- Joseph Rudyard Kipling(30 December 1865 – 18 January 1936)
Now this Felix emblem pictured at right sure takes the cake... especially the 31 ("Felix 31" being a cryptic "August 31").
Note from the wiki pages of notable persons mentioned on Felix's wiki page:
