It's interesting to note the etymology of the surname Ritter : A Horse riding knight. And the surname Peck is also an addition to the "Bird Theme" pattern-cluster.
Phoenix is another addition to the recent "Bird Theme" pattern-cluster, not to mention the name of his novel, The Seventh "Raven"... and a black bird at that. Both the books should be investigated further, butt not today anyway... at least not by me. Butt I did find some interesting things on the Phoenix Awards wiki page:
- won the Phoenix Award in 2008 for Eva (1988);The Seventh Raven (1981) in 2001
2011‡ | Virginia Euwer Wolff, The Mozart Season | Mary Downing Hahn, Stepping on the Cracks Eloise McGraw, The Striped Ships |
The obvious one is a "December 9" pattern-cluster. December 9th was less than a week ago, and so this could mean that there's someone we missed on Wikipedia's notable deaths site on this day, butt before I investigate, let's see what the rest of my investigations here brings up. Wolff's birthday is another addition to the "Targeting Family Birthdays" pattern-cluster given that August 25 is my granddaughters birthday. Other writer's who've won the award stand out, butt these two in particular:
- Virginia Euwer Wolff (born August 25, 1937)
- Mary Downing Hahn (born December 9, 1937)
- Eloise Jarvis McGraw (December 9, 1915 – November 30, 2000)
Mahy's date of death is an addition to the "Targeting Family Deaths" pattern-cluster, given that my mother passed away just this year on July 23rd. Again, Bawden's birthday is an addition to the "Targeting Family Birthdays" pattern-cluster given that January 19 is my brothers birthday... remember, it cropped up twice in my previous post, so we have an addition to the "January 17, 18, 19 (x3) / Date Sequence" pattern-cluster.
Note this next winner who won in 1999:
Her date of death stands out-- I recollect it cropping up several times recently so I key into this blogs search box, "April 19" pattern-cluster . WOW, it brought up my December 9th post, Witchy Woman and Her Gatz:
- Elaine Lobl Konigsburg (February 10, 1930 – April 19, 2013)
- Charles Scribner II (October 18, 1854 – April 19, 1930)
Charles II date of death is an addition to the "April 19" pattern-cluster. Note from my previous post:
- Tomás Gustavo Gil Guillén (April 19, 1939 – December 8, 2015)
- Kate Garry Hudson (born April 19, 1979)
Note from the Prince's wiki page:
- A pair of alternative history novels, King and Joker (1976) and Skeleton-in-Waiting (1989), are based on the premise that Prince Albert Victor, Duke of Clarence (1864–1892) survives and ultimately reigns as Victor I of England.
His birthday is an addition to the "Targeting Family Birthdays" pattern-cluster given that my stepson's birthday is January 8th. Both my son and life partner are born on January 15, so his date of death generates a "January 14, 15/Date Sequence" pattern-cluster. In fact, the two January Date Sequence clusters are pretty close, with only January16 and 17 needed to bridge the gap. Now note the following excerpt from the wiki pages of 2 actors in the film The Flight of Dragons:
- Prince Albert Victor (8 January 1864 – 14 January 1892)
Not only do we have another addition to the "Targeting Family Birthdays" pattern-cluster, butt we have a "January 8" and a "January 7, 8 (x2)/Date Sequence" pattern-cluster in the works. And do note Larry's last name "Storch"... a cryptic combination of "stork" and "torch"... another way of saying phoenix if you ask me!!
- Bob McFadden (Jan 19, 1923 ‒ January 7, 2000)
- Larry Storch (born January 8, 1923)
The Release date of the DVD and the birthday of Peter's wife Robin generates an "November 16, 17/Date Sequence" pattern-cluster.
- released by Warner Brothers as a made-to-order DVD in the US on 17 Nov, 2009
