as a followup to my previous post, there was one name that I didn't include from the notable persons found on Getz wiki page... because, it belongs here, note this excerpt:
Reading further I learn that Snoopy's birthday is:
At this time I should mention something that may apply, this excerpt from my August 29, 2009 post from my Toumai Blog re A Slip of the Tongue... or Not?! Part 17: Synchronicity, A Connected Voice:
Getz is described by critic Scott Yanow as "one of the all-time great tenor saxophonists"The cryptic communication being pretty darn obvious, "scott ya now". So what Scott is/are being referred to here?! Read my previous post and maybe you'll getz it tou. Note from Yanow's wiki page:
Scott Yanow (born October 4, 1954)So now, this brings me to one last Beagle that I'm aware of in my Beagle Knowledge repertoire, Snoopy. So I found a site re http://peanuts.wikia.com/wiki/Snoopy, and the following info:
Snoopy first appeared in the October 4, 1950 strip, two days after the strip beganSo ya know, what we now have in the works is an "October 4" pattern-cluster.
Reading further I learn that Snoopy's birthday is:
According to a series of strips in from August 7 to August 10, 1968, Snoopy's birthday is August 10.Note the following info regarding the day:
- August 10 - is the 222nd day of the year (223rd in leap years)
- August 10 - is the 222nd day of the year (223rd in leap years)
- During the course of conversation my boss would let out of the bag, a private little game where she would associate a person (personality traits) with a certain breed of dog (well, she’s an artsy fartsy!). Naturally we needed to know! So we got it out of her... she likened me to a ‘Scotty dog’, saying that I had a similar ‘hyper energy’... HYPER ENERGY?! Okay, so I felt just a wee tad put out (do I seem to have hyper energy?!... okay, don’t answer that).
Still, it continued to bug me since it seemed to me that my boss had designated larger, more ‘stoic’ dogs to my peers. Gawd, I hate being set apart... y’know, ugly duckling syndrome! My boss tried to reassure me that Scotties are a nice little dog... still I wasn’t convinced... but then what did I know of the little mutant mutt? Since the Design department had an amazing Library... I retrieved the book on dog breeds and opened to the Scotty dog and read the blurb to the others, which said something to this effect—bred as a hunter to be used in barns... small, intelligent, persistent, and a keen sense of smell that can sniff out a ‘rat’ anywhere. I’m sure that all in the room took note of my smug little smile... dignity regained amongst my peers and my boss let off the hook... we all got a good laugh.
