Claud Ruel RIIP: Toeing the Hard Dark Line/Lane Lamed

The Deaths in 2015 site lists under February 8:
His surname reminds me of the word "rule" and so there's likely a cryptic communication behind his name that jives along with the recent "Shaw/Shah/King/Presidents/Leaders...." pattern-cluster.  I discover two differing etymologies for the surname Ruel, one being "lane" and the other "hard man". It is possible that both definitions were designed to factor in.  Now note the etymology of his first name:
Claudederived from Latin claudus meaning "lame, crippled".
This is now an addition to another recent "Broken Foot" pattern-cluster.

Note from his wiki page:
  • Claude Ruel (September 12, 1938  – February 9, 2015)
His birthday is an addition to the "Off By One"  and recently formed "September 12" pattern-cluster. One off that is from 9/11. Note this excerpt  from my previous post:
 Robert Ross (1766 – 12 September 1814)
So we have one off from 9/11 , an addition to the "Off By One" pattern-cluster ... which was designed to communicate something specifically.  Keep in mind that 9/11 cropped up in yesterdays post, note this excerpt:
So note the date of 9/11 (Keep in mind that as of this date there are 111 days remaining in the year.  This is an addition to the "911/Significant Dates" and the "111/Identical Number Sequence"  pattern-clusters, as well as an addition to  the "Twin Things" pattern-cluster given that this event resutled in the NYC "Twin Towers" destruction.
Now note this next excerpt from Claude's wiki page:
  •  in 1958, he was struck in the eye by a deflected puck. Following the injury, he was hospitalized for three months, but his eyesight could not be restored
This is an addition to the "Eye/I/Injured..." pattern-cluster.
There is only one other notable person mentioned on Ruel's wiki page.  Note this next excerpt:
Ruel was hired to coach the Habs in 1968, replacing the legendary Toe Blake
Strange name "Toe",  which is in keeping with the "foot"/"lame" theme, given that even an injured toe is enough to make one pretty lame... I posted about my own toe injury, and come to think of it, my baby toe was once stung by a bee and trust me, I was pretty lame with that injury too.  Interestingly  enough there has been a "Missing Toe" pattern-cluster as of late, note for one, my recent January 28 post re Mayhem (Part 7): Who's Stalking Who?!.  Note as well, The etymology of Blake is "Black" so we get "black toe".

I get the overall sense of "toe the dark hard line/lame/lane".
