As to the etymology of the word pen/penn/pena, there are many: "feather"...." rock"... "enclosure". The feather as well as the reed were early writing implements, and because of the "Wright" pattern-cluster, the "writing implement" seems to take priority. Note the following:

What makes me say this, is the cryptic phrase found within his surname " a pen"- writing instrument. So with that in mind, note the titles of my recent May 1st and 2nd posts:
You may have already made the connection, but to give a brief: the second post investigates Actress Lynsey de Paul who is also listed on Wikipedia's Deaths in 2014 site, having passed away two days ago. One of the tv shows Lynsey acted in was called "The Wright Stuff", which stood out due to a previous "Wright" pattern-cluster recorded in my September 28th post, Fanning the Fire for the Great Awakening. Following the leads on Lynsey's wiki page finally reveals 2 other notable persons with the surname of "Wright", making for an ever burgeoning "Wright" pattern-cluster that can't be chalked up as mere coincidence. So then the first title above mentions the notable person, "Penn Jillette", with "Penn" being similar enough to the surname "Pena" and both being similar to the word "pen". What are the chances of this occurring?! This is part of the cryptic inner twin means of communicating to us... it's a language. And so the question then becomes: what are they saying?!

Which I have reason to believe is being said to a group who are at the moment "not writing the right stuff"... certain people who are aware of the inner twin world and yet turn a blind eye. Journalists for one, and specifically there's Rob and Trish MacGregor who have not only turned a blind eye to the inner twin world, butt they have censored their blog by removing evidence... such as my input which they originally accepted butt later decided that such a discovery could wreck havoc with their money making scheme-- they write astrology books and their synchrosecrets blog.. it makes sense when considering that if this were the case, then they have to consider that if there is anything at all to "astrology", it is more likely due to the "smoke and mirrors" infiltrating by inner twin world... which it is precisely that. Butt now here is the crux-- the MacGregor's do precisely what the inner twin world intended-- it's all part of their coming out scheme. And I'm doing precisely what the inner twin intended.
