Lennie RIIP: Lizzie May (Update)

As a follow up to my previous post.  Keep in mind that "The Onedin Line", is a nautical film, hence an addition to the recent "Ship/Nautical..." pattern-cluster.  Note from the films wiki page:

  • John Peter Gilmore (25 August 1931 – 3 February 2013),
  • Jill Gascoine (born 11 April 1937
  • James Hayter (23 April 1907 – 27 March 1983)
  • Warren Clarke (born 26 April 1947)
  • Brian Rawlinson (12 November 1931– 23 November 200
  • Jenny Twigge (born 19 January 1950)
Simply read my previous post and you'll understand what it is in the dates that stand out.  One final thing, a number of Big T Tall ships played a part in the film, one stood out:
Kathleen and May playing the part of the Charlotte Rhodes[7
Well, because May is my name after all!!  Note this excerpt from the "Kathleen and May" wiki page:
Launched in April 1900 under Captain John Coppack, she was named Lizzie Mayafter the Captain’s daughters.[1]
Placed to work on the Irish Sea, by 1908 she had sailed nearly 40,000 miles (64,000 km), when she was sold into the coal-shipping fleet of Martin J Fleming of YoughalIreland, and renamed the Kathleen and May after his daughters.

Audd... Lizzie May... Lizzie ... lesbian... I am after all!!  Audd to that the next Captain to buy the ship had a daughter named May as well!!

In service:April 1900
