Alastair Reid RII: A La Stair: A Witty Reid

The Deaths in 2014 site lists under September 21:
Alastair Reid, 88, Scottish poet and scholar
There are many things that stand out with the above, butt I'll begin with his twin age at death.  Since the inner twin world have a propensity for generating identical number sequences as a tell tale sign, I consider this to be a potential heads up.   And now note the title of my September 22nd post re: Sir Charles Read RIIP: Read CHAЯLY 333/33 Pattern-Cluster, which is in regards to the recent September 17 death of Sir Charles Read.  We definitely have a "Read/Reid..." pattern-cluster  now in the works. In the case of Alastair Reid's name, there is a bit of a cryptic phrase:  " read Alastair"... or... it could also be a cryptic way of saying "read a la stair"... or "read about a French stair?! So I googled French stair and le voi la: L'esprit de l'escalier:

  • L'esprit de l'escalier or l'esprit d'escalier ("staircase wit") is a French term used in English that describes the predicament of thinking of the perfect retort too late.
Okay... almost missed that one!!  Now let's go and read what Alastair's wiki page has to say:

Note the twin 22 in his birthday-- a particular inner twin signature... and then note the month-- March, named for Mars the god of war!!  The war still wages on it seems. Note the following info from the wiki pages of the two notable persons mentioned in the above excerpt:
  • Jorge Francisco Isidoro Luis Borges  (24 August 1899 – 14 June 1986)
  • Pablo Neruda (July 12, 1904 – September 23, 1973)
As to the first one, his birthday and his date of death are both additions to the "Off By One" pattern-

cluster... as in one off from my granddaughters birthday of August 25th and my birthday of June 13!~

As to the second, today is September 23rd!!

Note this next excerpt from Alastair's wiki page:

  • He published more than forty books, including Ounce Dice Trice, a book of word-play for children (illustrated by Ben Shahn), and two selections from his works: Outside In: Selected Prose and Inside Out: Selected Poetry and Translations (both 2008).

Pretty Witty Titles.   I'm sure that Alastair appreciate reiding the witty retort in the title of this post.
