Eugene P. Wilkinson RIIP, USS Long Beach and 222 Thin Man

The Deaths in 2013 site list under July:
Eugene P. Wilkinson, 94, American naval officer and nuclear power advocate, first CO of the USS Long Beach, founding CEO of the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations
Note the following from his wiki page:
Eugene Parks "Dennis" Wilkinson (August 10, 1918 – July 11, 2013)
Note the following re August 10th:
August 10 -is the 222nd day of the year (223rd in leap years) in the Gregorian calendar. There are 143 days remaining until the end of the year.
Since 1918 is nott a leap year, Eugene was born on the 222nd day of the year.  Two things had stood out from the first excerpt above.  First being the surname "Wilkinson", given that my best friend during my teen years was Joanne (Joey) Wilkinson.  Her father, Al and mother Nora were like a mom and dad to me. Joey and I had some wild, very happy times... butt as things go, we lost contact over the years,  butt I still think of her and family from time to time.

The etymology of Eugene is "well born" and the etymology of Wilkinson is "William son", with William meaning "helmet protection".  The second thing standing out is the reference to "Nuclear Power Operations"...  a number of my posts have circled around to nuclear power... namely nuclear weaponry such as "Fat Man" and "Little Boy", the atomic bombs detonated over Nagasaki and Hiroshima, respectively.  Note my May 14, 2013 post entitled, Asghar Ali Engineer RIIP, and the Atomic Explosion of Love... and in fact, note this excerpt where 222 factors in once again, butt this time on the opposite end of the spectrum:
I decided to go back to the "Little Boy" wiki page re http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Boy, where I  noted the following that happened to relate to the "Engineer" involved in building the bombs as well as "NAMING" them :
The names for all three atomic bomb design projects during World War II ("Fat Man", "Thin Man", and "Little Boy") were allegedly created by Robert Serber, a former student of Los Alamos director Robert Oppenheimer who worked on the project, according to Serber. According to his later memoirs, he chose them based on their design shapes; the "Thin Man" would be a very long device, and the name came from the Dashiell Hammett detective novel and series of movies by the same name
Note the following information from the "Thin Man" (film) wiki page re,http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Thin_Man_(film):
Release date(s)
  • May 23, 1934
Note the following information regarding the films release date:
  • May 23 is the 143rd day of the year (144th in leap years), 222 days remaining until the end of the year.
Note my May 23, 2013 post also mentions the Atomic Bombs fat man and Little boy re:  Dan Brown, Robert Oppenheimer, and Vishnu "Destroyer of Worlds".
