Note the following from the Deaths in 2013 site:
Rick Hautala, 64, American horror author, heart attack.[6]
First of all consider the recent "Richard/Dick" pattern-cluster, and as well note how his surname can be broken down into Haut-ala... with Haut similar to "Hot", hence falling into the recent "Hot/Pepper" pattern-cluster category. Note from his wiki page and from a list of books he has written:
The Mountain King (Cemetery Dance Publications, 1996) ISBN 1-881475-16-6
The title Mountain King is meaningful when you read some of my previous posts where "Mountain/Hill" and "Royalty/Powers that Bee" pattern-clusters have cropped up.
The meaning of the name Hautala (http://lastnames.myheritage.com/last-name/Hautala):
- Finnish: from hauta ‘pit’ + the local suffix -la, either a topographic name or a habitational name from a farmstead so named, with reference to a nearby storage pit, cooking pit, tar pit, charcoal-burning pit, or animal trap. This is a common surname in Ostrobothnia.
This is the second Horror writers in the last few days to die. Note the following under March 21 list re the Deaths in 2013 site:
James Herbert, 69, English horror writer (The Rats).[16]
